Sub:        Conducting Limited Departmental Competitive examination for promotion of Lower Grade Officials to the cadre of Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants for the year 2012.

                CO letter no RE/30-23/2012 dtd 14.06.2012 on the captioned subject received through eMail on 14.06.2012 at 17.04 Hrs. containing copy of the Directorate letter no. A-34012/6/2012-DE dated 12.06.2012 is forwarded herewith for information, guidance and necessary action. The time schedule stated in the letter may kindly be strictly adhered to. This may be widely circulated among the staff and Applications from willing & eligible candidates on plain paper (as per the proforma enclosed) should be forwarded so as to reach at this end by 25.06.2012 positively through their Unit/Sub Division head.

                The Unit/Sub Divisional Heads should carefully scrutinize the plain applications strictly according to the eligibility criteria laid down in the DTE,s letter no: A-34012/6/2012-DE dated 12.06.2012 circulated through the enclosed CO letter no RE/30-23/2012 dtd 14.06.2012 and forward the applications of only eligible candidates by filling up all columns of PROFORMA REPORT (copy enclosed) by 25.06.2012 positively so that OMR forms will be given to only eligible candidates.

               I am directed to call for applications from willing and eligible candidates on plain paper (as per proforma enclosed) latest by 25.06.2012.

           Divisional Heads should carefully scrutinize the plain applications and forward the applications of only eligible candidates by filling up all columns of PROFORMA REPORT (copy enclosed) so that OMR forms will be given to only eligible candidates. Before submitting filled in OMR Forms to Circle Office/Regional Office, Divisional Heads are requested to verify & satisfy that each & every column of OMR form has been filled in correctly by the applicant as per instruction. If any deviation is found in this regard the OMR form of the applicant will not be forwarded to CMC Ltd at your risk. Divisions under Regional Office may submit their applications along with Proforma Report through the concerned R.O.
