1. The 25th Orissa Circle Postal Cultural Meet 2011-12 will be conducted at Postal Recreation Club, O/o the Chief Postmaster General ,Odisha Circle. Bhubaneswar-751001 from 12th to 13th November ,2011. Sri Lalitendu Pradhan, Director Postal Services, Sambalpur will inaugurate the meet at 11: 00 hrs. on 12.11.2011 and Smt. Devika Kumar, Chief Postmaster General, Odisha Circle, Bhubaneswar will be the Chief Guest at the closing Ceremony at 16 : 00 hrs on 13.11.2011
2. The Stamp Design Competition will be organized on 21.11.2011 at the respective Divisional head quarters strictly according to guideline contained in the Directorate D.O Letter No-35-9/2011.Phil dated 04.11.2011
3. The CRC meeting for GDS employees is likely be held in the last week of November’2011. All the unit heads have been directed to submit the eligible proposals complete in all respects by 22.11.2011 along with 100-point calculation sheet prepared on the basis of up-to-date information.
4. Circle Office is considering a proposal for promotion and transmission of Raghurajpur handicraft items and Pipli applique works within India and abroad through India Post. SSPOs, Puri and Bhubaneswar have been asked by C O to examine the feasibility on different aspects.
