The official may exercise their option choosing the date of fixation of their pay under FR-22(1)(a)(i) within a month from the date of promotion. The official already given financial up gradation under MACPs Scheme are not eligible for benefit of fixation of pay by virtue of their promotion.

Before the officials are appointed to the post it should be ensured that no disciplinary/vigilance case is pending or current against them. Ineligible officials under the relevant recruitment rules should not be relieved/appointed.

Relevant charge report may be sent to all concerned.
