As posted earlier, the scheduled mass Dharna of Postal Workers was organized in the premises of the office of the Chief Postmaster General, Odisha Circle, Bhubaneswar on 25.05.2011 under the banner of Postal JCA consisting , NFPE, FNPO and GDS Unions. As many as 60 Postal, RMS and GDS employees gathered in front of the Circle Office with mass demonstration and slogans. All the Circle Secretaries, Divisional Secretaries assembled to participate in Mass Dharna elaborately discussed the policy offensives and appealed entire rank and file to mobilize, unite and make the ensuing strike from 5th July, 2011 a grand success.
Most regretfully, non-participation of FNPO leaders of Odisha Circle branch was again noticed in the Dharana Programme. Without any discouragement, all the NFPE leaders of the circle assembled there in the Dharana appealed the FNPO leadership of Odisha Circle to rise to the occasion and continue their support to bring a grant success to the forthcoming strike programme with every positive expectation that the F N P O leaders must join in the state level convention on 29.05.2011 in Bhubaneswar.
THE DAY LONG DHARNA WAS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY.
