In pursuance of the instructions contained in Directorate letter No.60-9/2010-SPB-I dtd 10.11.2010 circulated vide C.O. letter No.RE/6-12/2010 dtd 19.11.2010 and RE/6-3/2010 dtd 25.02.2011, the following outsider candidates who have been provisionally selected for appointment to the post of Postal Assistant in Bhubaneswar Postal Division have now been directed by the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division  to undergo “in house training” at Bhubaneswar GPO for two weeks with effect from 11.04.2011 (Monday).

As has been directed by the SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division, the “in house training” (both theoretical and practical) will be imparted by the Senior Postmaster & Deputy Postmaster, Bhubaneswar GPO for two weeks with effect from 11.04.2011 (Monday). The “in house training” in no way shall be treated as substitute for the formal training to be imparted by PTC unless it is so vouched by Training Wing / PTCs. The training will be imparted in such a manner so that the candidate can be posted to work in different computer modules, back office work till he is trained in PTCs. The candidate should not be allowed to work in any branch independently during the above training period. After completion of the “in house training”, the Senior Postmaster, Bhubaneswar GPO should furnish a certificate to the effect that he has completed the training for two weeks successfully.
