OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Grant of honorarium for translation from regional language to English / Hindi & vice-versa.
In partial modification of this Department's O.M. No. 17013/3186-Estt. (Allowance) dated 31'' March, 1994 on the captioned subject, the President is pleased to decide that the rates of honorarium payable, subject to the ceiling of Rs. 5000/- per annum in each case for translation from regional languages to English / Hindi & vice-versa, will, hereafter be Rs.120/- per thousand words of Ordinary Material and Rs.130/- per thousand words of Technical Material (including Codes / Manuals, etc.)
2. In so far as persons serving in the India Audit & Account Department are concerned, this issues with the concurrence of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India.
4. These orders will be effective from the date of issue.
5. This issues with the approval of Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure vide their 1.D No. 14(2)/2011-E-II(B) dated 10-03-2011.
