1. Approval of the competent authority has been given for Rs. 58,500/- towards the 13 Nos of UPS set up for installation of new UPS as requested by SSPOs, Bhubaneswar Division.
2. The result of the special departmental examination for promotion of LGO officials to the cadre of PA / SA / PACO held on 28.11.2010 has been declared today by C O. The surplus qualified candidates are allotted to the neighbouring Divisions. The detail result will be published on availability.
3. Circle Office has directed all Divisional heads in head quarters region to utilize the fund by passing the respective bills to Post Office staff involved in NREGS work latest by 30th March'2011.
4. To have a full-fledged Business Post center with franking machine facility in each HO and other important locations having business potential the Directorate has emphasized the growth of revenue on Business Post service and identification of corporate customers. As such, the Circle office has directed all the Regional / Divisional heads for identification of corporate customers, provide them the required service, comment on need for installation of franking machine in all HOs having business potential.
